If your family is up for the time travel adventure of a lifetime - you are in the right place!

BEFORE STARTING, prep your visuals and load them to your desktop. You will need the following visuals:
A recent family photo.
A family video (60-90 seconds).

If you are shooting this video with a phone, YOU MUST HOLD YOUR PHONE HORIZONTALLY IN ORDER FOR YOUR VIDEO TO FILL THE ENTIRE SCREEN.Your video should include the following:

An introduction with each member stating their name and age.
What are your two favourite family activities?
What are your two favourite family meals?
What do you hope to get out of this experience?
Finish with your family motto. If you had to come up with one phrase that describes your family, what would it be?

This video is your first impression. You are welcome to be creative but we are also happy if you simply point and shoot.

Once you have your photo and video ready and loaded up to your desktop, you are ready to complete the application.

Keep in mind:

It is best to complete this application on a desktop or laptop.
You cannot access this application at a later time. You MUST complete it in one session.
Once your visuals are prepped, you should allow yourself approximately a half hour to complete the application.

Back In Time For Dinner (the “Program”) The Documentary Series is a living history series in development about Canadian domestic history featuring a modern day family’s experience of the past. The Program will be produced by 3Bird Media Inc. (“the Producer”). A big thanks to you and your family for applying to be participants in the Series. By submitting an application registering your interest (“Application”), you hereby confirm that you satisfy the eligibility criteria below and that you accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions: APPLICANT – TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Availability. You must be a family unit with at least two children aged 13 and over and your family unit must be prepared to live at home from January through to March 2019. 2. Holidays. Family holidays during this period must be disclosed to us as soon as possible. Any booked or planned holidays will not preclude you from applying to take part in the program. 3. Ontario Residency. Each family member must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and a resident of Ontario since December 31, 2017. If you are selected to participate, the Producer will require photo identification and adults will need to provide proof of residency in the form of a Notice of Assessment (financial details deleted). 4. Home Ownership. You must be the sole legal owners of your home. Any restrictions on your home ownership must be disclosed. If selected, the Producer may require you to provide proof of home ownership. 5. Confidential Application. Your application is confidential. Your personal information will be retained by us and by submitting an application you agree that we may use and share your personal information for purposes connected with the program only. The Producer may use the information you provide to verify your age and identity and to carry out background checks with law enforcement and government agencies. The Producer may also share your information with the producing partners as part of the selection process. If you are not selected to participate in the Program, we will destroy your application and related information. If you have any questions regarding our use of your personal information or if you would like to update your information because your details have changed, please contact us at casting@3Birdmedia.com. 6. Producer’s Discretion. The Producer reserves the right at all times in its absolute discretion to change, extend, cancel or curtail the application and the application process. You understand and agree that the Producer is at liberty, in its sole discretion, to accept, disqualify or reject your application. Final selection of the participant family will be made by the Producer and is not subject to review. 7. Family Assessment. Should you be shortlisted to participate, the family will receive a home visit by the Program series producer, at a mutually convenient time, to meet the family members and assess your kitchen. All family members 18 and over will be required to submit to a Criminal Records Check if shortlisted. 8. Medical and Psychological Assessments. Taking part in the Program may be physically and mentally demanding and each family member will need to be in a sufficiently robust state of physical and mental health in order to participate. All applicants who believe they meet this criterion, including people with disabilities, are welcome and encouraged to apply. If shortlisted for the Program, each family member may be required to undergo examination by a qualified medical professional, selected and paid for by the Producer, to confirm for insurance purposes that you meet all physical and psychological requirements. 9. Participant Contract. If selected to participate in the Program, you will be required to sign a Participant Contract setting out the terms and conditions of your participation. 10. Change to Application Disclosures. If shortlisted or selected for the Program, you shall notify the Producers immediately if there are any criminal charges which have been brought or are threatened to be brought against you or any member of the family over 18 years of age on or after the date of your Application or if any information you provide in your Application becomes inaccurate between the date of your Application and the transmission of the final episode of the Program. 11. You may withdraw your application at any time. Signing this document does not commit you to participating in the Program. You hereby confirm that in applying for you and your family to appear in the Program that you have read, understand and satisfy these terms and conditions and that all personal details and/or information given as part of this initial Application process are truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
